Sometimes different is exactly what catches your eye.
And when I finished this little drawing, that was pretty much all I could think:
This is cute in a strange, weird and completely unnecessary way.
Which, frankly, makes perfect sense for me.
Apparently putting Cayman flora and fauna into situations where they absolutely do not belong is becoming something of a personality trait. 😂
And so, somewhere between wanting to make something autumnal and living on an island where autumn is mostly a concept we observe from afar…
Pumpkin Iguana appeared.
Something autumn.
Something flavourful.
Something blue.
He’s sitting among the pumpkins in his full technicolour fabulousness while Cayman continues sweating its ass off and pretending a slightly cooler breeze means sweater weather is approaching.
It isn’t.
But the flavoured lattes are back, so apparently we’re participating anyway. 😂
There is absolutely no sensible reason for a blue iguana to be sitting on a pumpkin.
And perhaps that’s exactly why I love him.
