Post Office Rain
Some buildings quietly witness the passing of time.
Inspired by the historic George Town Post Office, this illustration celebrates a landmark that has connected the Cayman Islands with the wider world for generations. Since opening its doors in 1939, the building has remained an important part of everyday island life while standing as a reminder of Cayman’s continued growth and history.
Created as the final piece in the rainy-day series, Post Office Rain combines heritage, architecture, and the gentle atmosphere of a Caribbean shower into a celebration of one of the island’s most recognisable buildings.
