The Easter Cottage
There is something wonderfully fun about taking something familiar and giving it a completely unexpected job.
In this case, I took the idea of an Easter basket and turned it into a little house.
Because apparently that’s what my brain decided we needed.
The result is this cheerful little cottage with all the charm of an island home and all the playful nonsense of Easter.
It was created during one of those moments when I wanted to step slightly outside the usual way of drawing things and simply have fun with an idea.
And honestly, this little house still makes me smile.
Sometimes the best ideas are the ones that don’t take themselves too seriously.
